Dear Readers,
Since A DEAD MAN
SPEAKS came out last
year, I've gotten
emails and letters
from readers across
the country telling
me how the book has
affected them. So
many of them have
mentioned how the
book's message of
forgiveness has
resonated with them,
that I decided that
I wanted to create
something that would
symbolize the
message of the book.
That's how I came up
with the Circle of
Forgiveness. I
started making
bracelets in the
blue stones that are
the same color as
the book cover.
I've been giving
these bracelets to
members of the book
clubs who have read
the book. Recently,
someone called to
tell me that since
she started wearing
the bracelet she's
found herself able
to forgive people
and situations that
had been holding her
back. Another person
said that after he'd
finished the book,
he was so struck
by the message of
forgiveness that
he too was able
to forgive people
and situations that
had consumed him
and that for the
first time, he
had a day without
negativity.
